Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for developing and executing critical marketing strategies that link to the organization’s objectives
  2. Develop overall brand strategy for BetMGM. Manage all creative direction to include linear and digital campaigns.
  3. Oversee the overall marketing budget (hundreds of $millions); all channels to include TV, Radio, other linear, CTV, digital, and social
  4. Lead social media following across all channels
  5. Build and lead a highly efficient team of marketing professionals – current team exceeds 100 individuals
  6. Manage all agency relationships – creative and buying agencies
  7. Mentor and support key marketing team leaders at the Director and VP levels
  8. Lead negotiations of key online and offline advertising contacts and ensure delivery of the set ROI.
  9. Oversight and accountability for all marketing campaign ideas.
  10. Coordinate marketing efforts with the company’s financial and branding goals in mind
  11. Support team with the development and approval of key KPI’s for each of the functional areas that roll-up into the marketing department
  12. Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.
  13. Work cross functionally with key stakeholders in Product, BI, Operations and Compliance to ensure accountabilities are clearly outlined between teams

Qualifications

  1. Analytically driven. Must be able to lead media and creative optimization to drive financial results.
  2. Must have some combination of gambling industry, sports, media, or $B+ ecommerce experience
  3. Brand development experience. Must have track record of brand development in either the US or Canada
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work through ambiguity
  5. Ability to manage significant team across a range of marketing disciplines.
  6. Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
  7. Ability to re-prioritize and be flexible in a high-paced fluid environment with competing priorities
  8. Must have a collaborative management style with the ability to build partnerships cross functionally, effectively influence and develop and implement business process improvements.
  9. Demonstrable experience in developing costed efficient & effective online strategic business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product, promotion etc.) with planned and analyzed ROI’s.
  10. A diplomatic and professional approach, able to gather and share information in an energetic and inclusive manner, while dealing effectively with challenging situations
  11. More than 10 years of proven experience in an executive marketing position with an online based company
  12. Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  13. Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification. In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.
