Pentasia And Headcount’s US Expansion

Pentasia And Headcount’s US Expansion

The Conexus Group is pleased to announce the ongoing expansion of its recruitment operations into the US, with Pentasia building on its market leading position in the iGaming sector and Headcount increasing its reach into the US as the specialist recruiter for the Fintech sector.

After 10 years of Pentasia operating in the US, under the leadership of Marwa Mitchell, Pentasia and Headcount are now looking to expand exponentially by widening their specialisms and continuing to attract the best talent in the market.

Marwa’s passion, energy and expertise over the last 10 years has perfectly placed Pentasia and Headcount to take these bold next steps and whilst Marwa has decided to step down as VP Recruitment North America, she will continue to contribute her insight and industry knowledge as a Non-Executive Board Director.

For this next chapter of our growth, it is with pleasure that we announce that Robert Gray has been appointed as the new VP Recruitment North America. Robert’s primary objective will be to grow our teams and widen our scope of delivery to ensure we can continue to meet the burgeoning talent demands of our US clients. After successfully growing Pentasia & Headcount’s operations in Barcelona for the last 3 years and with over a decade of recruitment experience to draw upon, Robert is the perfect professional to take both brands to the next level.

Alastair Cleland, Managing Director of Pentasia and Headcount said: “I could not think of anyone better suited and equipped to drive our growth across North America with the continued support of Marwa, the recruitment teams and the wider Conexus Group US companies such as Partis, iGaming Academy and InclineBet.”

In the last three years, nearly 80% of US states took steps to legalise online sports betting, presenting a huge opportunity for iGaming businesses that has been accompanied by enormous challenges to find experienced talent. In similar fashion the Payments market is predicted to explode in 2022, catalysed by the upswing in online transactions during the pandemic. This surge has never waned, with total transaction value predicted to reach up to $1.5tn this year in the US alone and up to $2.1tn by 2025.

Both Pentasia and Headcount, as part of the Conexus Group, have an unrivalled track record for industry leading service to the iGaming and Fintech sectors. As recruitment consultancy firms, they combine an ability to deliver talent with a level of specialist advice and insight that is simply not available through typical recruitment channels.
